The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has blamed the failure of Alh. Ibrahim Galadima to clinch the coveted FIFA Executive Committee seat to “high-wire politics”.
The FIFA Executive Committee seat became vacant after Dr. Amos Adamu was suspended for three years for being guilty of breaching the ethics of the football apex body.
However, the Glass House vowed to “take appropriate steps to align itself with the situation” once Dr. Adamu’s case is concluded at the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
Meanwhile, the Federation has commended the federal government for its supports to Alh. Galadima’s ambition to clinch the FIFA Executive Committee seat.
It also acknowledged the efforts and commitment of the campaign committee despite its failure to win the seat for Nigeria.
